About the Role:
We are seeking a General Labourer / Entry-Level Carpenter with hands-on experience in a construction environment. Formal certifications are not required—we value practical experience, skills, and the ability to complete work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with commercial and residential renovations and construction projects
- Support carpenters and other tradespeople in completing tasks efficiently
- Read and interpret basic plans, layouts, or sketches
- Measure and assist with layout and assembly of materials
- Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision
- Follow project plans and specifications
- Maintain organized, safe, and high-quality worksites
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to read and follow plans, measurements, or basic blueprints
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures efficiently
- Commitment to maintaining organized and safe worksites
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a construction environment
- Valid BC driver’s license
- Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and grow on the job
